1:There _____ some sheep on the farm.

     A. is       B. are       C. be        D. am

2:There _____ a computer and some books on the desk a moment ago.

     A. is        B. are       C. was       D. were

此题虽也是对 there be句型的考查,但句中的 a computer and some books 及a moment ago 就增加了试题的难度,所以,例2适合初三阶段的学生。

例3:Nothing wrong with the TV set, _____?

     A. is it   B. does it   C. is there   D. does there

4:There ______ some people in the room.

     A. is    B. are    C. has    D. have
