摘要:Objective To explore circular RNAs ( circRNAs)which were associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) and validate their clinical significance. MethodsCircRNAs profiling microarray and bioinformaticsmethods were performed to detect insulin-signaling-pathway-related circRNAs,including hsa_circ_ 0056891,hsa_circ_ 0063425 and hsa_circ_0071336. We used qRTPCRto detect the expression levels of these 3 circRNAs.50 newly diagnosed T2DM,40 impaired fasting glucose(IFG) and 50 sex and age matched ( ± 3 years) controlswere recruited. Their baseline characteristics were collected.Plasma levels of fasting insulin ( FIns),leptin(LEP) and adiponectin (APN) were detected. Logisticregression model and multiple linear regression were usedto assess the association between circRNA levels and po-tential risk factors of T2DM and IFG. The diagnostic performanceof T2DM was assessed by the receiver operatingcharacteristic curve ( ROC ).
