摘要:This paper derives new and ex-act closed-form expressions for the averagesymbol error rate (SER) of square M-aryquadrature amplitude modulation (M-QAM)in wireless communication systems over theα-μ fading channels subject to an additivenon-Gaussian noise. The obtained expressionstake into account static and mobile wireless re-ceivers. In addition, a closed-form expressionfor the outage probability in mobile networksis obtained. Please note that all derived ex-pressions in this paper a valid for integer andnon-integer values of the fading parameters.Analytical results are presented to study theimpact of noise shaping parameter, severityof fading, and mobility on the average SER.Monte-Carlo simulations results are also pro-vided to validate the accuracy of the analyticalresults.
