摘要：As English teachers we give our students reading assessments in order to test theirreading abilities.However,some teachers may not be aware that the comprehension questions theyformulate only test students’ ability to understand and recall ideas and information directly stated in thegiven text.Actually there are more our students need to learn through different levels of comprehension-literal,interpretive and critical comprehension.
