摘要:Higher education is bec oming increasingly globalized and int ernationalized, and the number of int ernational students studying in U.S. institutions of higher educ ation is continuously growing. Based on the Open Door Report, there were 819,644 international students in America during 2012- 2013 ac ademic ye ar, and 886,052 int ernational students during 2013-2014 academic year (2014). International students have contributed to their own suc cess, campus diversity, campus internationalization, and also the U .S. Economy. In or der t o pr ovide impr oved educ ational pr ograms and services, an unders tanding of how s tudents perceive their learning experiences is detrimental. It is not enough to enroll international students in U.S. institutions of post-secondary education;it is important to help them, retain them, get them involved, and develop them.
