摘要:In the modern world, nations divide the crimes into some laws, and the punishments for white-collar crime get harsher and harsher. In some countries, white-collar criminals can even be given the death penalty. Although, white-collar crime is a grave threat to today’s society, it becomes rather difficult to identify because it is financially motivated nonviolent crime committed by business or government professionals. White-collar criminals do not resort to physical violence or threats, but may lead to devastating consequences to a family, a company or a country.
