摘要:<正>The posterior capsular opacification(PCO)is by far the most common complication following phacoemulsification.Posterior continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis(PCCC)is performed to prevent this complication in human beings. In PCCC,the central part of the posterior capsule is removed during cataract surgery to prevent equatorial lens cell migration onto the posterior capsule from reaching the visual axis.Up to now, there has no any report about PCCC in veterinary medicine. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of primary PCCC on the severity of posterior capsular opacification in dogs.
