摘要：A novel starch derivative--carboxyl methyl starch(CMS) was investigated in this paper. Through aseries of experiments, the results showed that CMShas considerable effect on paper strength as internaladditive, and the better technology conditions are asfollows: pH=7.0, CMS dosage is 1.0% (on o.d. pulp),mixing time is 45min and drying temperature is105~C.
