摘要：In the United States,wind industry contributes about 6.5%of the electricity generation in 2018,enough to power 26 million homes.Moreover,the U.S.Department of Energy is working with different leading wind turbine manufactures toward achieving 20%wind power by 2030.In order to achieve this goal,however,significant advances in cost,performance and reliability are needed.Wind farms are currently still very expensive to operate.
