摘要：The principle of autonomy of letters of credit is regarded as one of the two broad principles on which the law relating to letters of credit is based;the other being the doctrine of strict compliance.In this article,we pursue the following route.First,we assess the nature of the autonomy of the credit.Secondly,we look at the fraud and illegality during the underlying transaction in more details.Thirdly,we make an overall understanding of this particular principle.
