商周时期鲁北地区海盐业的考古学研究

作者:方辉商周时期海盐业鲁北地区盔形器地理分布

摘要:The so-called helm-shaped pots discovered mainly in the Northern Shandong area have been inferred to be sea-salt production vessels of Eastern Zhou Dynasty since the 1950s. Further studies suggest that the earliest pots of this type belong to the Western Zhou period. Based on material of archaeology, anthropology, ancient inscriptions and historical documents, the author points out that at the latest in the late Shang period, the helm-shaped pot was used as a sea-salt making boiler and transportation vessel, and probably as a measuring pot. Sea salt was one of the important tributes to the Shang court. Seeking for the sea salt resources in Northern Shandong, the Qingzhou region recorded in the Shangshu : “Yugong”《尚书·禹贡》, was a crucial reason for the Shang Dynasty to conquer this area.
