摘要：As an extraordinarily brilliant poet and playwright during the Renaissance,William Shakespeare’s works are greatly influenced by the humanism.Humanism is people-oriented,showing huge respect and care for human beings,starting to recognize human’s creativity,affirming human beings’value,opposing asceticism but pursuing happiness.All of these are shown perfectly in Shakespeare’s works.His creativity and imagination not only shows the basic meaning of humanism vividly but also makes it more charming and popular.This essay will analyze humanism in Shakespeare’s representative poems and plays.
