摘要：English plays an ever more significant role in culture communication,and English vocabulary translation is an essential part of translation.While translating CCV into English,domestication and foreignization is the two major translation strategies.The main purpose of this paper is not only to elucidate CCV,but also to recognize foreignization as the proper strategy when translating it into English.The arguments are backed up by plenty of CCV lexical examples.The paper concludes that the purpose of adopting foreignization is to present Chinese culture as it is popularize the Chinese culture to the greatest extent.
