摘要：First of all,the drastic change never seen in a hundred years is seen in the fundamental change taken place in power-balance between the traditional Western developed countries and the emerging economies.The share of the Western developed countries in the economic aggregate of the world is decreasing constantly,while the position held by the emerging economies in global economic pattern is continuing to rise.The share of the Western countries’GDP in the economic aggregate of the world is decreasing from 70%in the 1950s to 43%today,while that of the developing countries and the emerging economies is rising from 30%to the current 57%.Over the past 40 years,the top 11 economies of the world have changed drastically.In 1977,the Soviet Union ranked second in the top 10,while China and Brazil ranked 9th and 10th.By 2017,the emerging economies like China,India,Brazil and Russia ranked respectively 2nd,6th,8th and 11th.In another word,with the development of economic globalization and countries pursuing various development policies,the past 40 years has witnessed disparities in economic achievements by various countries and great changes in national strength comparison among the major countries.
